2. JOB DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITIES)

As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from concept to deployment.

• App Development: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and Kotlin.
• APK Analysis & Optimization: Research and analyze third-party APK files, Android Manifests, and package structures to improve compatibility and security.
• System Integration: Connect Android applications with our existing web systems (WordPress) via RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Performance Tuning: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application (memory management, multi-threading).
• Maintenance: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to ensure high stability.
• Collaboration: Work with the content and SEO teams to implement features that enhance user retention and engagement.

3. REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS)

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a passion for technology.

• Experience: Minimum 1.5 – 2 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Core Languages: Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin (knowledge of both is a plus).
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Knowledge of standard libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Room).
• Architecture: Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines (MVVM/MVC patterns).
• Tools: Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• English: Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
